Of course you can keep cheese in the refrigerator, but then you run the risk of having cheese which is too cold, too hard or even too dry is becoming!
If you leave your cheese out of the “kitchen refrigerator”, the cheese will not be at the perfect temperature and you will not be able to ignore the smell!
This cheese climate cabinet has one temperature zone that can be set with a range between 8-16° C.
Some examples of temperatures:
- Hard - bring - cheeses (Beaufort, Gruyère) between 8 and 10°C
- Soft-ripened cheeses or white mold cheese (brie, camembert, humboldt fog) at 8°C
- Pont l'Evêque cheeses between 8 and 12°C
- Blue cheeses (Roquefort, Danish Blue) between 11 and 12°C
To store all cheeses at the same time, a temperature of 9 – 13°C.
The cabinet works on 220 Volt - and the door (double glazing) has a "mirror coating" which gives the cabinet a luxurious look and the sun has no influence on the cheese. You can also place this anywhere (kitchen, utility room, on a cupboard, etc.) because of its compactness.
