Install

Installing:

First of all, a comment that you will certainly like; ! No additional accessories are required when installing the cabinets.

The same applies to all climate cabinets and look carefully at the dimensions so that you have the right model (the width is always the same!)

  • WxDxH: 595 x 575 x 840mm (excluding handle = 40mm)
  • WxDxH: 595 x 575 x 1240mm (excluding handle = 40mm)
  • WxDxH: 595 x 575 x 1640 (excluding handle = 40mm)
  • WxDxH: 595 x 720 x1800mm (excluding handle = 40mm).

  • The climate cabinet has 4 adjustable feet (so that the climate cabinet can really be leveled, even on an uneven floor)
  • The height under the door (top of ventilation grille to the ground) is approximately 125mm
  • The height of the bottom (from the ventilation grille to the ground) is approximately 25mm
  • Also note the hinge (right side, on top of the cabinet). The height is approx. 10mm

Heat dissipation:

Please note the following: consider a climate chamber the same as a refrigerator and it must be able to dissipate its heat!

No special accessories or tools are required to install the climate chamber. However, one must be aware of sufficient ventilation at the rear of the climate chamber to dissipate the heat. The heat is created when the compressor starts (just like your refrigerator at home). Warm light is lighter than cold air and will therefore rise. This heat must therefore be able to dissipate.

This can be done by keeping it open at the top (probably just like with your current refrigerator). If that is not possible, for example if you want to place the climate cabinet under a bar or countertop. At that moment it is not desirable to make a hole in it, but you must ensure "heat dissipation" so that the heat cannot linger (if it lingers, the temperature sensor will detect that it is getting hot and will be cooled more, which will cause even more heat to occur, etc. etc.).

This can be done by making an opening in the cabinets on either side of the climate cabinet. Make sure that there are openings at the top so that the heat can flow to the left/right and does not linger. You will not see this opening from the outside because it is “processed” inside the cabinet. The ventilation grille at the front is used to draw in “fresh air” (which is created when the warm air at the rear rises – this creates a suction effect).

Remark:

Because the door has exactly the same dimensions as the climate cabinet, the door will open approximately 5mm when the door is opened 45 degrees, so you can place this climate cabinet in a room with a width of 600mm (the most common size of kitchen cabinets). If you open it to more than 45 degrees, this disappears and the door is parallel to the climate chamber again. The door can be opened to more than 200 degrees!!
